Room 2

Room 2 This stove was specially made for heating irons on its sloping sides.  The design was patented in 1878. The main focus in this room is everyday life as it might have been lived in this house and elsewhere locally. Items to do the weekly laundry and kitchen equipment such as crockery and jelly moulds as well as weights and measures can be found.

The contents of Room 2 reflect include a variety of objects from domestic life over two centuries
